A native of Atlanta, Steven graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Visual Arts. He spent more than 4 decades as an art director and creative director for corporations and advertising agencies, winning more than 100 national and international awards

Today Steven is a contemporary narrative artist whose work is in demand by major corporations, institutions, and collectors across the globe. He was selected to be a Clark Hulings Foundation Executive Fellow. He is a recipient of the United States Sport Academy’s (USSA) prestigious International Sports Artist of the Year award. And, he was also awarded the American Sport Art Museum and Archives’ (ASAMA) “Zhenliang He Cultural Medallion”.
Steven was invited to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo to stage a solo exhibition of narrative, Olympic-themed paintings at the prestigious Tokyo American Club. Due to concerns over COVID-19, unfortunately, a state of emergency was imposed in the host city and the exhibition was cancelled.
