Michi Newman

Michi Newman has always been intrigued by art and creativity, especially painting.  Life has allowed her to become involved in her later years.  After living in Marietta and Vinings, she joined an oil painting class about 15 years ago, enjoying every challenge so much. She earned her degree in Interior Design from the University of Florida and began her career in commercial design.

During this time, she was especially inspired by the variety of artistic expression she encountered through art placement projects, where the diverse mediums and talents of each artist left a lasting impression. Painting—primarily in oils and more recently in acrylics—has since become her primary artistic outlet. Her artistic journey continues to be one of exploration and growth, as she hones her techniques and develops her own ever-evolving style.
