Dianne Harrison is a graduate of The Rhode Island School of Design, where she completed a Masters program with an emphasis in painting. She is a member of Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society and has studied with many respected master painters including Quang Ho, Maggie Siner, CW Mundy and Wolf Kahn.
Dianne is dedicated to painting from life in her studio as well as on location in Maine, North Carolina and France.
In addition to still life, Dianne often paints the river which runs behind her studio. Architectural subjects that evoke a particular sense of place and a feeling of “home” are among her favorite painting subjects.
