After college she began a career as a flight attendant and spent nearly 30 years traveling the world. She has visited art museums around the world and considers this an important part of her education. Art has always been an important part of her life and her dream to paint full-time came true in 2020 when she retired from Delta Airlines. Her studio is located at the Artisan Resource Center in Marietta, GA.
She has won several awards in both plein air competitions and juried shows. In 2019 she was selected to be an artist-in-resident in Orquevaux, France.
