| Raka Bose Saha |
Raka Bose Saha is a self-taught artist who received M.S. degrees in both Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Michigan and the University of Calcutta, respectively. After years of painting part time, she decided to give up her job as a Biochemist and moved to Atlanta in 1994. Saha`s vibrant, unusual mix of colors create a poetic statement in her acrylics, oils and pastels, which have since garnered awards and recognition throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and India.
