| Nicholas Orban |
Nicholas Orban grew up outside of St. Louis, Missouri. His interest in art started at a young age and continued into high school. There he discovered his love for painting. His work was entered into many art shows and was displayed on campus frequently. After high school he attended Lewis and Clark Community College where he received an Associates of Art Degree. In the late fall of 2001 Nicholas was accepted into the
Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. In the summer of 2005, he achieved a BFA in Illustration.
He now lives in Seattle, Washington where he is continually producing new bodies of work in both oils and acrylic. Nicholas` work is greatly influenced by many artists and illustrators such as, Bernie Fuchs, Andrew Wyeth, and Mark English. Many of his recent paintings have been inspired by the unique landscapes of Georgia that he discovered while living in the Atlanta area.
