Karen Nichols, an Atlantan by birth, received her Fine Arts degree from Georgia State University. Her subsequent career in fashion photography has added dimension and excitement to her figurative works. Extensive travels in Europe and elsewhere inspire the diversity of her landscapes, which gain expression through Nichols’ complex use of texture, color and composition.
