Karen Lawrence specializes in the depiction of light-filled interiors that
capture the history and treasures of a home. Her still lifes also have the
same ethereal presence that makes her artwork known throughout the Southeast
and beyond. A University of Tennessee graduate, Lawrence taught watercolor
at the Spruill Center, Sandy Springs, and the Atlanta Artists Center before
becoming a practicing, full-time artist in the 1990's, producing works in
both oil and watercolor.
