Dianne is a graduate of The Rhode Island School of Design where she completed a rigorous masters program with an emphasis in studio painting. She has studied with master painters including Wolf Kahn, Kevin MacPherson, Greg Kreutz, Ann Templeton, Kim English and Charles Sovek. She works primarily in oil, often in plein air. Her work reflects her belief that each of us has a unique response to the world around us and that art allows us to communicate that experience to others. Her emphasis on vibrant color is a reflection of her admiration for the work of Paul Cezanne, Henri Matisse and Vincent Van Gogh. She is a constant learner who believes that her knowledge and skill as a painter is growing continuously.
