Paul Blakey, after a boyhood in rural upstate New York, studied commercial illustration, graphic design and fine art at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. As a commercial artist, corporations and publishers have used his illustrations throughout the world. Blakey`s love of painting became dominant in his life and since then, his drawings and pastel paintings have been shown throughout Atlanta and the Southeast, winning numerous prestigious awards.
